On stage we find some of Norway's leading actors. Maria Bonnevie is back on the Norwegian theater stage after 15 years, in the role of the fragile and complex Blanche. Bonnevie has not been on a Norwegian stage since the mid-2000s, and her comeback therefore marks a long-awaited moment in Norwegian theatre. Trond Espen Seim portrays the raw and brutal Stanley, and Kjersti Dalseide plays his sister Stella. Amund Sigurdsønn Karlsen, plays the role of Harold "Mitch" Mitchell, Stanley's best friend, and the one person who gives Blanche hope for a new future.
